Sales Engineer

· Coordinate and participate in sales reporting and customer meetings.

· Provide good customer service with technical support and attend to their enquiries.

· Conduct site visits and assessments to meet the clients' needs.

· Seek referrals andcontinue to build customer base.

· Analyse opportunities and make recommendations to customers’ requirements.

· Clearly articulate the value of Helmsion products and services, demonstrate a strong understanding of our product offerings and the competitive landscape.

· Prepare budgetary proposals, Request for Information, Request for Proposals.

· Work with the team to negotiate and close complex deals.

· Strategize with the team to explore the market and maximize profits.

· Prepare analysis reports on sales performance against revenue objectives, sales productivity and ideas to review effectiveness.

Requirements

· Degree in Business/Mechanical Engineering or Technical Education

· Excellent multi-lingual and interpersonal skills

· Excellent time-management with consistent follow-up skills

· Team player who can work independently and possess a ‘go-getter’ attitude

· Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with contacts

· Experience in outdoor industrial equipment sales will be an advantage

· Basic + Allowance - HP & Transport + Commission base on sales target

· Required to visit customers

The Sales Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry is responsible for leveraging technical expertise and sales skills to promote and sell complex technological products or services. Job Description:

Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth within the oil and gas sector.

Client Identification: Identify, qualify, and pursue potential clients, focusing on those seeking innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency or reduce emissions.

Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations that explain product features, benefits, and applications to prospective customers.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address their needs and concerns.

Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate product specifications and solutions are presented to clients.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives while meeting customer expectations.

Sales Reporting: Ability to track sales activities and report on performance metrics regularly.

Requirement:

Educational Background: A Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields) or a similar technical discipline is required.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering role within the oil and gas industry is preferred. Experience with technical sales processes is essential.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, including equipment specifications, emissions control technologies, and regulatory compliance.

Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful client relationships. Strong negotiation skills are essential.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Personal Attributes

Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.

Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• After market sales related promotion to existing customers in Singapore
• Regular " patrol " activity as pro-active maintenance promotion. Patrol / Check machine condition / Report / Service proposal with quotation & manage prospective / secure order / execute maintenance job by team
• Solutioning skills such as Troubleshooting / proper report and action order to the team.
• Compressor system improvement proposals
• Energy saving proposal with existing system diagnosis
• Help up and coordination with Sales & Marketing department. Job task share when the existing customer does machine replacement or expansion / upgrading orders.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Engineering related academic
• More than 3 years experience in similar industry
• Possess Class 3 Driving License.
