The Opportunity
We are a looking for a dynamic individual to join our Global Sales team based in Singapore. The successful candidate will be managing global key accounts while also partnering with the Cluster Sales Team to drive sales revenue for the group.
Responsibilities:
- To meet / exceed revenue targets as set out by Ascott
- Drive direct sales through key segments allocated by Director, Global Sales (Corporate) but not limiting to: Corporate accounts and their appointed Relocation agencies and Travel Management Companies
- Build relationships with key decision makers to ensure that Ascott is a preferred choice for their hotel / serviced apartment programs.
- Manage global RFP programs and global annual agreements
- Co-drive with Cluster Sales Team to maximize potential of the accounts
- Identify potential industries to grow and develop business
- Participate in and represent the group at related trade shows, overseas sales trips and networking events
- Regular business reviews with clusters and cross functional working groups to ensure alignment of sales strategies and processes
- Well versed in all sales related systems to have the ability to guide / train clusters
- Keeping up with industry trends and ensuring relevance in our core segments
- Pre-opening POP Guardian for S&D function as assigned by Division Head
- Sales related projects as assigned by Director, Global Sales (Corporate).
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor degree or above, fluent in English
- More than 5 years Hotel / Serviced Apartment sales experience in regional level
- Profound experience in corporate accounts or global sales background
- Self-driven, target-oriented, team spirit and can work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office system and sales related software and tools.
