Assistant manager, corporate finance
[What you will be working on]
• You will be part of Corporate Finance Division, which oversees credit evaluation, cash and investment, foreign currency hedging and bonds issuance.
• Your main role will be to assess the financial health of LTA’s contractors and service providers by performing financial evaluation and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• You will also be involved in the reviewing and streamlining of LTA’s evaluation framework; digitisation of work processes; and partnering LTA’s other divisions to provide financial advice related to risk management and mitigation measures.
• Depending on performance, you will also have the opportunity to explore and realise your potential through involvement in other corporate finance functions and initiatives, such as liquidity management, investment of LTA’s reserves, foreign currency hedging and issuance of LTA Green bonds.
• Suitable candidates may be considered for a permanent role upon completion of contract.
[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary Qualification preferably in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Economics or other relevant discipline
• Experience in financial statement analysis or credit evaluation preferred but not required
• Interest and/or experience in performing descriptive and predictive data analytics using Business Intelligent tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and Open-source scripting languages (e.g. Python)
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Analytical and detail oriented with good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with guidance and adhere to timelines
