Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate issues of concern and interest to the Singapore business community, co-create solutions, and champion them at international platforms, particularly about trade and investment.
• Develop policy positions and formalise these through written papers and presentations.
• Take part and coordinate with participating business leaders as the focal point for the Singapore delegation at international conferences and summits such as the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), International Chambers of Commerce (ICC), Business 20, World Trade Organisation (WTO), East Asia Business Council (EABC), and Asia Business Summit (ABS).
• Coordinate and maintain the relationship with business leaders and other partners in the Singapore business community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• A degree with at least 5 years of working experience, with experience in advocating for the interests of companies on overcoming the barriers in international trade policies and regulations in the areas of trade and investment, trade in services, digital economy, customs and trade facilitation, and trade finance.
• A good understanding of Singapore companies’ interests and concerns concerning the above-mentioned topics.
• Good analytical, planning, consultation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Results-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
• Strong drive and proactive self-starter.
• Able to work well in a team and as an individual contributor.
• Able to travel frequently.

Responsibilities:

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Policy Servicing, provide user requirements and perform User Acceptance Test for new products, system enhancements and system defects
• Support ad hoc projects and coordinate user testing when needed.
• Create and design process flows, journey maps to facilitate understanding of end to end processes within Policy Servicing, including cross functional processes
• Liaise with relevant business, function and technology teams to document requirements
• Review and identify opportunities for process improvements, through processing and drive automation
• Update Standard Operating Procedure and coach/train the processing team
• Assist to manage the Policy Servicing team and ensure smooth operations of the team
• Assist to support audits and control testing on Policy Servicing functions
• Coordinate and support ad hoc activities and projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Insurance, Business or equivalent professional qualifications
• Knowledge and hands on experience working on projects in the Life Insurance / Shield line of business
• Experience in developing business case and requirements and perform impact assessment
• Analytical and problem solving skills, ability to operate effectively.
• Good time management, task and result-oriented. Able to perform duties with accuracy and deliver quality work within tight timelines
• Considerable relevant experience in managing a team preferably in an insurance or financial sector
• A person who is keen to learn with positive work attitude

• You will work closely with distributors, building strategic alliances and seeking opportunities to collaborate, with the objective of meeting sales and revenue targets. Spearheading the entire sales process from business development, sales presentation, pricing strategy and negotiation.
• Brand building is a priority and you will seek to increase brand visibility and recognition.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administrative with at least 10 years' of relevant sales experience.
• Currently holding a similar senior level role in the industry, has a strong existing network in the related industry and an in depth understanding of industry and market trends.
• Sales experience in technical or competitive products, coupled with well pronounced business acumen and successful sales track record will have an added advantage.
