As the Director of Presales, you will play a pivotal role in owning all Tookitaki AML products, supporting the Sales team in winning clients and building strong relationships. You will work closely with our Sales team to develop and present business solutions that align with client needs, positioning Tookitaki products as key differentiators and competitive advantages. This is a high-visibility role, demanding passionate and dynamic individuals who are comfortable taking ownership and driving customer engagement. Your deep understanding of the industry, domain, and products will be critical to becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct market and prospect analysis to assist the Sales team in better qualifying deals and identifying opportunities.
- Product Positioning: Develop and articulate product positioning and messaging that resonate with customers and distinguish our offerings from competitors.
- RFI/RFP Management: Manage and respond to customer requests for information (RFI) and request-for-proposal (RFP) completion.
- Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaterals Development: Create standard and custom sales collateral, including pitch decks, case studies, videos, and one-pagers, to support the Sales team.
- Proposal Management: Own the proposal submission process, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
- Event Participation: Support sales and marketing activities by presenting at and attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for product licenses and professional services, including implementation, workshops, and migrations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in presales, proposal writing, RFI/RFP responses, product demos, and product sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in IT products or services related to sales, presales, product management, or product marketing.
- Multi-country exposure: Must have exposure to work across multiple countries in the ASEAN market and APAC region.
- Customer Orientation: Strong customer service orientation with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to recognize client demands and provide innovative solutions.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technical innovations and trends impacting AML and financial crime compliance.
- AML Expertise: Prior experience in financial crime software/services with a strong understanding of AML compliance.
- Technical Solutions: Understanding of AI/ML-based solutions and their application in AML.
- Product Experience: Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and/or digital products, as well as large transformation programs.
- Startup Experience: Prior experience working in a growth-stage startup under pressure.
