ob Description
✓ Responsible for the Restaurant business performance and maintain high standard of service
✓ Create and execute plans for restaurant sales and profitability
✓ Plan and coordinate menus with Executive Chef
✓ Build strong relationships with customers and serve as the main point of contact
✓ Advise customers on menu and beverage choice
✓ Respond to customer complaints. Ensure positive customer service, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied customer into return customer
✓ Provide effective leadership to the Service Team
✓ Handle disciplinary issues, conducting Annual review and confirmation of staff
✓ Constantly review, evaluate SOP and suggest improvements to the management
✓ Ensure all employees adhere to the company's SOP
✓ Train & coach team members to ensure staff development
✓ Handle and control cashiering duties, daily sales collection, cashiers float and petty cash claims ✓ Perform banking duties
✓ Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
✓ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with 3 years in a managerial role
✓ Have good product knowledge on Japanese food
✓ Knowledge of cost/inventory management would be an added advantage
✓ Excellent organizational skills
✓ Ability to thrive in a challenging environment
✓ Strong public relations with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
✓ Candidate must be a strong leader & team player
✓ Demonstrate commercial capability to deliver profit, control costs and build customer loyalty
✓ Candidate must have basic PC-literacy
