Title: Sales Manager
Location: Ubi, Singapore
Salary Range: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,500 + Commission
Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Director, the Sales Manager plays a crucial role in our dynamic and growing sales team. You will be tasked with selling IT services and solutions to large SMEs and MNCs, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure. This position offers excellent career progression opportunities, allowing successful candidates to lead a team and eventually manage a business unit.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage in direct sales activities to acquire new B2B customers through calls and visits, leveraging the company’s existing client base and your personal contacts.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers, expanding business opportunities.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on sales developments.
- Manage sales funnels and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through cloud software.
- Collaborate closely with technical staff and key technology partners on leads, partnership events, and business opportunities.
- Secure sales and meet financial targets by bringing quotations to closure.
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities through Gebiz and related portals, submitting ITQs as required.
- Understand and target vertical sectors, recognizing their specific needs and wants.
- Develop and execute effective action plans to meet customer requirements and achieve sales success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3 years of corporate sales experience in the IT industry.
- Diploma or higher in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in selling enterprise solutions, such as network/system infrastructure, network security, managed services, and maintenance support.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships at the executive level and influence decision-makers.
- Independent, resourceful, with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A valid driving license is preferred; a company vehicle will be provided upon confirmation.
- Candidates with less experience are also welcome to apply, as training will be provided for junior positions.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients in China.
