J.P. Morgan is a market leader in Prime Financial Services.
As an Analyst in the Prime Financial Services (PFS) Transition Management team, you will act as a relationship manager and be responsible for the legal and operational structuring, end to end coordination and integration of all new clients onto the PFS platform. The aim is to deliver a seamless and timely multi-asset class onboarding for our clients, spanning multiple products, including Futures and Derivatives Clearing, FX, Equity and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage and Repo Financing.
Job Description
• Act as a single point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process to go-live. Establish and maintain relationships with primary client contacts, such as COOs, CEOs and Heads of Operations.
• Responsible for hosting and running regular client meetings. Show flexibility to manage a varied client based including Alternatives, Banks, Asset Managers, and Pension Funds.
• Translate a client strategy and structure to the relevant J.P. Morgan products and legal entities, working to identify and deliver business solutions to clients.
• Understand the commercial and risk asks of a client and work with internal partners to engage clients in a comprehensive manner looking across, to the extent possible, all products and legal agreements.
• To represent clients internally, ensuring their requirements are being met accurately and delivered with a sense of urgency.
• Build strong relationships with all internal partner teams such as Sales, Credit Risk, Margin Trading, Execution, Legal, Account Management, Middle Offices etc. to facilitate client timelines.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
• Minimum 1years of relevant experience in a client facing role within the financial industry
• Experience with either a varied client based including Alternatives, Banks, Asset Managers, and Pension Funds or a relevant product (Futures and Derivatives Clearing, FX and Fixed Income Prime Brokerage etc)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and client management skills with an ability to build meaningful relationships with both clients and internal partner groups.
• Solutions oriented with strong project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver within tight and changeable timeframes
• Confident, driven, proactive self-starter with an ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
• Experience with business analytics/coding to initiate process improvements/create templates for client materials will be preferred
• Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage to cover clients from China
