Job Overview: As the CFO of the Fintech, a thriving Series-D tech startup, you will join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our financial strategy. We are seeking a dynamic CFO currently serving in a CFO capacity at a listed company, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic financial management and proven success in navigating the complexities of a public company environment.
Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership:Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):Lead the financial aspects of potential mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute strategic acquisition opportunities in line with our growth strategy.
- Investor Relations:Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders.
Communicate the company's financial performance, strategy, and objectives to the investment community.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure transparency and adherence to all financial and legal obligations.
- Capital Structure and Financing:Optimize the company's capital structure, exploring financing options and managing relationships with financial institutions.
Assess and execute financing strategies to support our growth initiatives.
- Risk Management:Implement effective risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with business operations.
Stay abreast of market trends and industry best practices to guide risk management decisions.
- Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the finance team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO in a publicly listed company is a must.
- Extensive experience in leading successful mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong financial acumen and a track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities with investors and stakeholders.
- Experience in the tech industry is highly desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
