The Job

• Provide support to the IFRS17 reporting team in preparing and reviewing regular reports.
• Maintain and enhance controls for financial reporting and compliance with IFRS17 standards.
• Assist in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new products and model changes.
• Conduct thorough analysis to improve the quality of IFRS17 results and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement in existing processes.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks related to financial reporting and control enhancement

The Talent

• Finance discipline and IFRS17 accounting knowledge is required, with a number of years of work experience in the Life Insurance industry
• Strong numeracy background with an ability to take on new financial/technical concepts
• Proven ability to deliver high quality analysis and commentaries
• Strong communication skills (English written and oral) and can work collaboratively with others, including with international and virtual teams
• Track record of proactiveness, ability to learn fastly, manage changes and deliver results within the tight deadlines.
• Strong proficiency at Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word), including ability to deliver impactful written reports and presentations

• It is an opportunity for an experienced Actuarial Pricing Analyst to join their team

The Job

• Responsible for providing assistance to the valuation and other reporting requirements in the Actuarial Department to support business needs.
• Support the computing of reserves and capital requirements for RBC2 solvency monitoring.
• Perform valuation projects assigned which may involve solvency, balance sheet and profit & loss management etc.
• Support new product assessment, including but not limited to reserving/solvency bases review, valuation modelling requirements etc.
• Responsible for maintaining local Model Governance standards as per bank's guidelines.
• Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the bank's guidelines and statutory regulations.
• Review and provide justification of results for valuation and reporting purposes.

The Talent

• Minimally 6-8 years of relevant Actuarial experience
• Hands-on experience in Prophet is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
