Job Description

• Design and conduct experiments to develop new products, processes, or technologies in the fields of environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or petrochemicals.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to guide further research and development efforts.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals through literature reviews and continuous monitoring of industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and other R&D professionals, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to research projects.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from lab-scale to commercial-scale processes.
• Ensure that all research activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• PhD in Environmental engineering , Chemical engineering, Biochemical engineering or related fields
• 2 to 5 years of industry experience in environmental, Chemistry, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or related field.
• Knowledge of chemical processes such as incineration, water treatment, distillation and crystallization.
• Awareness for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
• Experience designing and conducting bench-scale tests and pilot testing, as well as experience developing and reviewing validation protocols is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry, including experience with various analytical equipment is an advantage.
• Candidates with process engineering background are welcome to apply.
