Reporting to the Senior Manager / Assistant Director of Learning and Development, Employee Awards, Engagement, and Wellness, the Senior Executive/Executive plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, employee recognition, and overall well-being within ECON Healthcare Group. This position is responsible for supporting the SM/AD in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement, facilitate professional development, and promote wellness programmes aligned with our organisational goals. The ideal candidate will oversee and administer various training-related funding initiatives, ensuring the effective utilisation of governmental sponsorship programmes and internships to nurture a talented workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Learning and Development
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programmes that enhance organisational capabilities and employee skills and build bench strength of our leaders/supervisors.
- Manage the ECON Careskills Training Centre to deliver high-quality training and development initiatives.
- Oversee the identification and application of government training-related funding, including programmes from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC).
- Oversee and Administer internship programmes and develop partnerships with educational institutions to create a pipeline of talent.
- Support initiatives such as the Career Conversion Scheme and Return to Nursing Programmes to facilitate career transitions and support workforce development.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of programmes and initiatives, utilising metrics to drive decision-making.
- Oversee sponsorship bonds, deeds and undertakings for minimum service period.
- Oversee and organise Orientation/Acculturation Programmes including periodic review on its effectiveness and the content
Employee Awards and Engagement
- Oversee and administer employee recognition programmes that celebrate achievements and contributions to the organisation.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys, including the Employee Climate Survey, to assess staff morale and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse survey results and recommend targeted strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Foster a positive work environment through initiatives that promote teamwork, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
Wellness Programmes
- Design and implement comprehensive wellness programmes that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance offerings related to employee health and wellness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, and/or Wellness programmes
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of government funding initiatives related to training and development, as well as familiarity with healthcare industry practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing employee recognition and wellness programmes that drive engagement and satisfaction.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decisions and strategies.
