Job Description
- Preparation of embedded value (TEV basis and MCEV basis) reporting and analysis of surplus arising.
- Preparation of annual business planning exercise, analysis of potential surplus arising and making recommendations.
- Preparation and analysis of economic capital reporting.
- Conducting experience studies and making recommendations considering plausible future development.
- Preparation and analysis of reinsurance related reporting including reinsurance treaty/addendum review.
- Manage model governance and validation in accordance with internal policy which includes reviewing procedures to maintain model integrity and appropriate model documentation.
- Manage enhancement and modification of the Prophet system, ensuring accuracy and consistency of the results produced, and modifications are well documented including new products modelling and enhancements for reporting and capital frameworks such as IFRS17, RBC2, ECAP and MCEV.
- Ensure quality and timely completion of core deliverables.
- Provide technical support to internal as well as external parties such as regulators and auditors.
- Handle special ad-hoc Actuarial projects as and when required.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Actuarial Science and with good progress in Actuarial exams.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in actuarial field.
- Prior experience in Valuation, Embedded Value reporting, business planning and/or Corporate Actuarial is preferred.
- Good knowledge about Singapore Valuation and RBC 2 rules is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Prophet and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
- Proficient at Actuarial reserving and embedded value concepts.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
