Responsibilities
- Develop new product formulations to meet customer needs and timelines by preparing formulations, conducting physical property tests, and monitoring formulation stability.
- Present new product development results effectively to the R&D Project Leader through presentations and test reports.
- Complete product modification projects aligned with departmental goals and timelines by conducting experiments and hands-on formulation work.
- Provide timely updates to the R&D Project Leader on product testing and characteristics by identifying and communicating development action items.
- Manage formulation trials and test results by maintaining accurate and up-to-date laboratory notebooks and records.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and ergonomically sound workplace by following best practices for equipment use, product handling, storage, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a Science field (essential), preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science.
- 2+ years of laboratory experience or relevant lab coursework.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
