Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage the R&D department, developing and implementing effective technical strategies.
• Provide technical guidance for product development, support, and certification.
• Ensure compliance with relevant airworthiness requirements and secure approvals from authorities (e.g., CAAS, EASA, FAA) and aircraft manufacturers.
• Drive product management initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, increase productivity, improve product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Serve as the authorized design signatory for certification/design data with major aircraft manufacturers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
• Promote a culture of innovation that encourages experimentation and calculated risk-taking.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-years or above of experience in aviation R&D, product development, or engineering management.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAR, EASA, CAAS).
• Familiarity with certification processes and design data management.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manager in the Actuarial team, you will be assisting and leading the delivery of a wide range of client engagements, leading or working as part of a project team, relating to IFRS 17, Appointed Actuary work, actuarial valuation, pricing and product development, actuarial modelling, Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence. You will also be performing evaluation in areas related to financial risk, product distribution and capital issues. You will also work with advanced financial modeling approaches and systems, e.g. designing valuation and Asset Liability Management (ALM) frameworks.

• Newly or Nearly qualified with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of Australia
• Good knowledge of Prophet software
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Depth of experience in at least one of the following areas:

- financial modeling

- financial and regulatory reporting

- product and distribution strategy

- ERM / Solvency II

- M&A due diligence
