Contract Period:

• 2 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 (12 Months) + 1 Year Optional renewal by school.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Fridays: 8.30am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Works:

1. Assist teachers in the preparation of teaching and learning resources and specimens needed.
2. Assist in the preparation of resources for science practical examinations.
3. Maintain all live specimens and laboratory equipment.
4. Conduct periodic stock-taking on laboratory supplies in science laboratory and advise Science HOD / LH on stock level
5. Conduct daily cleaning of the Life Science and Physical Science laboratories.

Assistant Head / Teacher in the following subject: Mathematics

We are looking for candidates who possess a relevant professional teaching qualification (or Post-Graduate Diploma Education equivalent) and

· have a passion in the relevant teaching subjects and inspire students to love the subjects via teaching and role modelling

· can participate and contribute to the planning, development and teaching of an integrated 6-year curriculum in the relevant teaching subjects

· are able to provide for the learning needs and character development of high-ability learners ranging from 12+ to 18 years of age

· are able to contribute as an effective Co-curricular Activities (CCA) teacher and form-teacher

Requirements:

· A good Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science

· Competent in teaching Mathematics at GCE O-Level and/or GCE A-Level H2/H3 content

· Coding experience in Python, C or Java is advantageous

· Research work experience is desirable – able to offer and guide Mathematics/interdisciplinary research projects for high school students

· Driven and able support Head of Department to lead the department in designing, implementing and evaluating an integrated 6-year Math & Statistics curriculum

· Able to collaborate with key personnel, stakeholders and external partners in curriculum innovation and strategic planning at the school level

· Experience in curriculum and/or management work in secondary schools or junior colleges would be advantageous

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for new product development, experiment and optimize buffer composition, reagents and recipes;
• Responsible for the testing and experiments of key raw materials, able to independently plan, analyze and summarize experimental data;
• Responsible for solving technical problems encountered during the research, development & production process;
• Strictly comply with laboratory-related operation and quality management requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet projects goals with overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience in IVD, clean environment production, quality system, R&D and etc;
• Expertise in the operation and maintenance of lab instruments and data systems;
• Understand the relevant requirements of the production quality system for in vitro diagnostic products;
• A bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, a master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a doctorate degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Others are welcome to apply.
• Familiar with in vitro diagnostic products such as lateral flow immunoassay, PCR, Immunoassay etc;
• Familiar with IVD product development and commercialization life cycle;
• Systematical project management, good planning, execution and timely communication. Good presentation skills.
• Majoring in biology, medicine, laboratory science, immunology, pharmacy or quality engineering are preferred;
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and down-to-earth work attitude, strong communication & execution ability, results driven, and a team player;
• Meticulous and strong sense of responsibility; able to handle stress and tight schedule;
