We are looking for actuarial candidate who is passionate about financial reporting, in particular IFRS17 reporting.
Job Description:
- Provide feedback to the review of the regional and local technical interpretation of the standards
- Review the business requirements according to the technical decisions for requirement of the standards
- Provide actuarial support and feedback to solution design team and IT to improve the end-to-end ETL tools for better efficiency and analysis
- Support the implementation of the changes to the end-to-end ETL tools, including development of data, model and IFRS17 reports
- Participate in UAT for ETL tools, source system changes and sub-ledger system, including business validation of the IFRS17 reports
- Ensure the end-to-end reporting process and control for Actuarial, including data preparation (set up of Prophet model, model points and assumptions) in an auditable manner for IFR17 reporting
- Participate in the Business Planning process for IFRS17 financials
- Collaborate with other local and regional teams in IFRS17 reporting
- Analyse and explain IFRS17 results and support business initiative for result improvement
- Perform reconciliation between IFRS17 basis and other reporting basis
- Support the audit on IFRS17 reporting
- Provide actuarial support to the Finance division initiative on reporting process re-engineering

- At least 4 years of relevant experience in actuarial roles or positions
Professional Qualifications
- Qualified/partly-qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body
