We play a pivotal role in the company’s enterprise-wide digitalization and data initiatives, influencing strategic decisions that shape the future of insurance solutions.
As an Executive you will be an integral part of our Actuarial Department’s Capital Management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn about and contribute to reporting under the Risk Based Capital 2 (“RBC2”) Framework. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
This role will be an integral team member within the Capital Management team in the Actuarial Department. The key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting filings and reports.
- Participate in capital management activities, including solvency reporting and stress testing.
- Actively adopt actuarial and data analytic tools to design process, and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Design new or improve existing risk controls to enhance governance and mitigate risks within the actuarial function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall reporting process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The individual is expected to be able to be adaptable as well as open to a dynamic working environment. The candidate is expected to have the following qualities:
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a life insurance function within an actuarial capacity preferred, fresh graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with good progress in actuarial credentials (e.g. ASA, AIA, AFA) from a recognized international actuarial body
- Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, problem solving and decision making
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Willingness to adapt to changes in the working environment and explore innovative approaches to tasks and challenges.
