You will be an integral member of the Actuarial General Insurance team, who will work in collaboration with other key team members, the Finance Department and Business Department on key functions pertaining to General Insurance valuation and IFRS17 reporting. This role will expose you to how Actuarial could take customer-centric perspectives and iterative prototyping approach to solve complex problem more effectively. You will also get to apply new technology and data analytics to automate actuarial work as well as providing impactful insights to our business partners.
- Develop actuarial models and budgeting tools for IFRS 17 business plan for General & Group insurance. Close collaboration with cross functional teams to develop, maintain and refine business plans and financial forecasts.
- Develop and enhance IFRS 17 models and workflows to automate actuarial work processes
- Conduct studies for IFRS 17 assumptions and assess the impact of IFRS 17 on profitability of the business.

- Support IFRS 17 team in financial reporting and ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with Actuarial Science or equivalent with good actuarial professional paper progression
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in General Insurance actuarial function
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and data software such as Alteryx
- Experience in GI valuation and IFRS17 reporting will be an advantage
- Strong team player who is adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to learn and explore new ways of working
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills
