Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- At least 5 years of post-semiconductor process or design experience.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of semiconductors and customer needs.
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems, including creating specifications and drawings.
- Familiarity with measurement, analysis, and reliability assessment tools.
- Basic understanding of the substrate manufacturing process (desirable).
- Ability to solve problems ranging from difficult to moderately complex.
Competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to work with meticulous care and precision.
- aptitude for understanding and interpreting customer needs.
- Proven project management skills for effective planning and execution.
- Capacity to influence and guide others on company policies, practices, and processes.
Trial production and design
Manage customer data by sending, receiving, editing, and organizing it effectively.
Implement Design Rule Checks (DRC) and handle system registration.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and respond to customer feedback.
Create and optimize product drawings, and secure customer approval.
Develop, update, and oversee design and manufacturing data.
Generate and manage tool data.
Produce data for process checks.
Establish product specifications, set up process flows, and register systems.
Summarize the settings for manufacturing conditions.
Review prototype development results in collaboration with relevant divisions.
Summarize the outcomes of quality confirmations.
Manage the transition of prototype production.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams.
Standardization, OperationDevelop, standardize, and validate input and design guidelines.
Establish and standardize operational flow rules.
Formulate and standardize correction rules and policies.
Oversee the training and development of design engineers.
Roadmap
Research customer and industry technology trends.
Develop a technology roadmap.
Summarize and manage development initiatives through research and innovation.
Customer Response
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from customers.
Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss and address their needs.
