Job Description
- Assist in the daily operations of the assigned science laboratories, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics and pond.
- Responsible for the setup, clean up and general maintenance of the science laboratories and Science Areas.c) Responsible for the cleanliness of the Recycling Corner.
- Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus, equipment and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.
- Assist in stock taking exercise and maintenance of equipment.
- Typing of worksheets and notes.
- Supporting and assisting in departmental events, activities and programmes.
- Any other duties assigned by the School.
Work Schedule:
- Salary: Up to $1800 / Month
- Contract Period: 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
- Nearest MRT: Paya Lebar / Eunos
- Working days: Mon to Fri
- Working hours: Mon to Thurs: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, Fri: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
*Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays*
Job Requirement:
- Able to make use of Microsoft word / excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint
- Able to operate electronic devices eg. hydroponics sets, aquaponics and other devices relating to Science
- To be able to do gardening (weeding, planting and watering)
- Preferably with more than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position and in a school environment
