Contract Period: 25 March 2024 to 30 May 2025.
Working hours:
• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public Holidays
Scope of Services:
1) Oversee project logistics and manage the intricate details of multiple research projects
2) Liasing with school personnel to arrange for assessments for selected students
3) Ensuring the necessary consent for assessments are obtained
4) Administering and scoring of standardised assessments
5) Data entry of assessments information and behavioural observations
6) Working with PSB officers to manage and analyse students’ data
7) Other ad-hoc pieces of work, such as literature review
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
1) Completed Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) or Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology or Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours)
2) Good communication and interpersonal skills – Able to address school personnel’s queries professionally and communicate effectively with school personnel to arrange for assessments
3) Work well with children – Has at least 3 months of experience working with children. Prior experience with behaviour management of children (e.g., building rapport, setting expectations and rules) is preferred
4) Good time management and self-management – Able to manage their time and schedules effectively, to ensure that all assessments can be completed within the stipulated timeframe
5) Good organisational and data management practices – Meticulous and able to manage large sets of data using Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of using essential Excel functions and formulas (e.g. VLookup, Filters, Pivot Tables) is preferred
6) Able to work independently
Experience in administration of standardised psycho-educational assessments is preferred
