· Digital IC Design and system-level exploration:

o Lead and contribute to co-optimization between on-chip memory and DSP design and analog front-end (i.e. DAC, BPF, Mixer, LNA and ADC) to ensure high quantum control/readout as well as to optimize power consumption per channel

• Maintaining existing and establishing new industry collaborations and partnerships in applied research and at universities in Singapore; advising and supporting Fraunhofer institutes in Germany
• Connecting with Fraunhofer researchers, Singapore’s research organizations, business and industry associations, and agencies and local government as well as exploring strategic research collaborations in Singapore and the region.
• Analysing the technology, research and innovation landscapes in Singapore and the region
• Actively supporting Fraunhofer Singapore and bridging to German Fraunhofer institutes when it comes to establishing contacts and acquiring R&D contracts with companies, industry associations and research organizations in Singapore; promoting new research and development projects in order to provide innovative and sustainable solutions from the entire Fraunhofer portfolio to potential customers.
• Identifying suitable international funding announcements and research funding as well as supporting scientists and researchers at Fraunhofer institutes in their development of businesses with our partners.
• Organizing networking events and participating in research-related workshops and conferences to increase the visibility and efficiency of Fraunhofer Singapore, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and its network in Singapore.
• Supporting delegations and trade fairs.
• Developing own R&D portfolio at Fraunhofer Singapore in collaboration with our partners
• Actively promoting the Fraunhofer brand and engaging in marketing and outreach activities under Fraunhofer Singapore

Qualification requirements

• Appropriate research and/or professional experience in industry/technology management and research
• Knowledge of the Singapore industry or research landscape
• Completed university studies in science, engineering, or economics; profound technical understanding (technical university degree)
• Passion for international collaboration as well as for research and innovation management
• Program and project management expertise; planning and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and perceptive skills as well as communication skills, both written and spoken, in an intercultural context; independence, judgment and diplomatic flair, strong organizational skills, diligence and thoroughness
• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English; knowledge in spoken Chinese/Mandarin is a benefit.
• Good knowledge about the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft with work and collaboration experience with Fraunhofer Institutes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops Logistical plans for Dry-docks, New-builds, and Special projects including timelines, schedules, and consolidation points of owners supplies.
• Serves as the Supply Chain focal point of contact on the pier in the execution of the loading plans of owner supplies, tools and materials onboard.
• Tracks and report progress of loading plan, ensuring risk are identify and mitigated, issues are escalated and resolved and changes are documented and approved.
• Directs planning meetings with the shipyard, Marine Operational groups, and Supply Chain to ensure project coordination from a logistical perspective
• Collaborates with internal and external constituents, including suppliers and third party logistics suppliers, to meet common goals and resolve conflicting issues.
• Manages the receiving and releasing process of owner supplies at on site new build warehouses.
• Develops work procedures; prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Issues written and oral instructions. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Develops and executes reverse Logistic strategies at the conclusion of the project and works with operating groups to coordinate the ultimate disposition of owner's goods.
• Leads logistics and Supply Chain staff, mentors and influences others on complex projects and assignments.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Depending size and scope of a project a Project Manager is responsible to oversees financial budget between Three Hundred Thousand to One Million dollars.
• Ensures efficient utilization of staff and non-labor resources.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced / Specialist / Management / Graduate Diploma or related field, or equivalent experience.

Job Description:

• Coordination and communication of all relevant activities, both internal and external to ensure all aspect of services are in accordance with study requirements.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that activities come together in a timely manner to meet the client and study requirements.
• Working with Client to finalize logistics requirements.
• Ensure that all study shipments requested are released according to contractual and country requirements.
• Co-ordination of study returns request in accordance with project requirements.
• Timely provision of reports and other information to clients as required
• To ensure that all processes are performed in accordance to established procedures and cGMP standard.
• Coordinationon planning and scheduling of labelling and/or packaging jobs as required by clients.

• Provide input into the writing and review of departmental SOPs.
