Responsibilities:

• Manage door-door operational management for inter-region transport lanes, ensuring consistent product availability and the highest levels of customer experience
• Lead process improvement projects leveraging PM methodologies like Six Sigma, FPX, etc., to drive reliability and or cost efficiency for inter-regional transport moves
• Ability to present performance metrics and project charters/updates to various levels of management
• Responsible for coordination, track & trace, and exception management for segment inter-region transportation lanes
• Lead/participate in operational vendor management meetings (business reviews, reporting on operational vendor performance) and lead day-to-day tactical relationships with the vendors
• As required, partner with distribution Centre’s and manufacturing facilities to coordinate and manage freight on inter-regional lanes
• Partner with Quality team to ensure that transport operations are managed within the appropriate quality framework
• Primary point of contact for sites and logistics providers to communicate issues affecting shipment flows, including but not limited to missing documentation, freight delays, quality events, and shipping receiving delays
• Perform ad-hoc operational analytics to drive day-to-day business efficiencies
• Lead operational activities to support global bids for various inter-region transport moves; including requirements, baseline validation, and lane implementation to pre-established metrics
• Provide support for event management in other geographical regions based on the criticality of issues

• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
• The incumbent will perform general duties of order processing coordination with various parties to support the daily logistics/distribution operations. What you will do Operates according to company’s quality policy and in compliance to customer’s service standard
• To meet basic and routine requirements of internal (immediate supervisor) and external (customers and forwarders) Communicate and liaise with various external parties pertaining to shipment and orders Update distribution database and network
• Maintain and filing of documentation May need to support operations if there are any urgent orders. Do you have what it takes
• At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in a transport/freight/haulage environment Good PC and office skills Sensitive to details and accuracy
• Good communication skills Able to commit Monday to Friday and half Saturday. Requires class 4 driving license to cover for driver or urgent delivery if neededand liaise with various external parties pertaining to shipment and orders Update distribution database and networkomer’s service standard
