• Proficient in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and technical issues.

The Role:

• NITEC in Automotive Technology or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in the automotive repair and service industry.
• Able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Understanding of the functionality of electrical components.
• Valid Class 3 Driving License.

Our client is a leading MNC commercial vehicle solutions provider, active in more than 50 countries across all continents and is looking for a technician to join their growing team in Singapore. The Technician will oversee vehicle repair, diagnostic and service maintenance.

The Job

• Perform comprehensive repairs encompassing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Conduct thorough overhaul repairs as necessary.
• Diagnose issues effectively and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Strive to achieve Utilization, Efficiency, and Productivity targets.
• Ensure accurate parts details are provided in Work Orders as required. Carry out routine service maintenance on trucks.
• Set a high standard for Health & Safety performance within the responsibility area.

The Talent

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in Servicing and repairing heavy trucks servicing and repairing heavy trucks.
• Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts.
• Basic engine, transmission, and brake system knowledge.
• Multi-meter basic electrical values.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram.
• NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2
