We are looking for a Continuing Airworthiness Manager whose responsibilities will include:
- hold full responsibility for the Airworthiness Management of all contracted aircraft as the nominated Airworthiness Postholder
- maintain the company’s processes and procedures in accordance with the company’s Continued Airworthiness Management Expositions (CAME & MCM)
- be the primary liaison to the various Regulatory Authorities with respect to all functions of the CAMO
- work directly with the company Quality Manager to ensure regulatory compliance for all company tasks and processes, and oversee all internal auditing programs
- be the primary contact with the aircraft Owner / Operator for all matters concerning airworthiness
- directly supervise a dedicated group of airworthiness management technical analysts (including remote employees) and provide training to junior analysts
- manage and be responsible for the aircraft technical records - physical and electronic - in accordance with the various Regulatory Authority requirements
- review critical maintenance data including Airworthiness Directives and Technical Bulletins
- review the aircraft electronic records and prepare maintenance projections, including monthly reports for the engineering and operations departments
- obtain and review quotations for the provision of aircraft maintenance
Who you are:
- You should possess a relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education. A relevant engineering degree refers to an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies that are relevant to the maintenance and / or continuing airworthiness of aircraft / aircraft components. This can be replaced by a minimum of ten years of experience covering an appropriate combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance and / or continuing airworthiness management and / or surveillance of such tasks.
- hold a valid Part 66 B1/B2/C licence, or equivalent,
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in the airworthiness field with a minimum of 5 years at the management level (CAM or Postholder)
- proven ability to manage the aircraft MTS programs including CMP, CAMP, Flightdocs & Traxxall
- proven ability to manage and direct a group of technical analysts
- capable of working with multi-national clients and employees
- self-motivated with the ability to work closely with aircraft engineers and technicians
- excellent computer skills required including MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat
Salary: to be negotiated depending on applicable experience
