As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead our international operations, with a particular focus on the development and growth of our Southeast Asia (S.E.A.) market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage international freight forwarding operations, including air, ocean, and land transport across multiple regions.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency across the Southeast Asia (S.E.A.) region.
• Lead a diverse, high-performing team across global offices, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional market demands.
• Spearhead the business development efforts in Southeast Asia by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key clients, partners, and local authorities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
• Optimize operational processes to enhance cost-efficiency and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local S.E.A. standards.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and operational excellence across the Southeast Asia region and other global offices.
• Manage regional and international budgets, achieving financial targets and cost control measures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives for market expansion and policy development, particularly in Southeast Asia.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in the Southeast Asia market to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is an asset).
• A minimum of 15 years' experience in the international freight forwarding or logistics industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of international shipping regulations, trade compliance, and customs procedures, particularly within the Southeast Asia region.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional and diverse teams across multiple regions.
• Strong strategic thinking, market analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages is an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural environment.
