Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes.
Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc.
Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident.
Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during work.
Proper handling of company assets and equipment.
Check and update vehicle daily checklist.
Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises.
Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers’ premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers).
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
Requirements: -
Possess valid Singapore Class 5 driving licence.
Minimum 5 years' experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore.
Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements.
Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
Familiar with container yard operations.
Familiar with Drive in Singapore Mainland and Jurong Island.
