We are currently seeking Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) with 3-5 years’ experience and holding a Cat B licence from CAAM / CAAC / EASA, to join our team. B1 or B2 LAEs with authorization in any the following aircraft types will be preferred*:

A350

A380

B737

B747

B777

B787

*For CAAM, 5 or more years of experience is required for conversion.

Conversion Programme

Successful applicants will undergo a 6-month Conversion Programme comprising:

Refresher training at the Training Academy, to prepare for Basic Paper exams required by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to convert to a Cat B CAAS License; and

• On-job-training to familiarise with the operating environment at the work site.

Upon successful conversion to a Cat B CAAS License, applicants will be deployed as a LAEs in the company and may look forward to a rewarding career with development opportunities, including aircraft type course(s).

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in the company, you will lead a maintenance team and be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.

You will be operating under Part 145 approval to certify airworthiness of aircraft and its components.

Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance manager and aircraft engineers with any appropriate assigned tasks in a safe, complete and timely manner.
• Responsible to carry out daily projects and complete within specified time frame.
• Carry out daily hanger and aircraft assignments as directed.
• Responsible to provide working knowledge of Regulatory AD’s, Bell ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC and third party engineering orders on Bell aircraft configurations.
• Responsible to provide planning and capacity analysis as required for the successful operation of this section.
• Provide clear and immediate advisory to appropriate personnel whatever any safety issues are observed or experienced
• Able to carry our modification, servicing, maintenance and repair of aircraft airframe systems in accordance with approved maintenance data and engineering drawing.
• Assist to carry out operational/functional tests, trouble shooting and defect rectification.
• Assist in ensuring that the tools and test equipment used are properly maintained, calibrated and correct for particular work tasks.
• Assist with hanger and mobile works as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with general, commercial and/or military aircraft
• Knowledge of rotary wing airframe systems and components, comprehension of technical data, installation instructions and ability to work closely with other trades.
• CAAS B1.3 License, FAA A&P, rotary wing maintenance experience.
• Familiar with common aviation tooling.
• Flexible to shifting priorities and time schedules to meet company objectives.

General Responsibilities:

• Understand and comply with procedures and policies pertaining to EH&S and time recording

• Carry our wiring and electrical component replacement, fabrication of wire harness for wiring modification, aircraft battery charging and servicing.
• Assist Rotary Wing Avionics Aircraft Engineer in ensuring that the tools and test equipment used are properly maintained, calibrated, and correct for particular work tasks.

Requirements:

• Diploma
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with general, commercial and/or military aircraft.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components, reading schematics and installation drawings
• CAAS B2 License, FAA A&P, rotary wing maintenance experience.
• Familiar with common avionics tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Maintenance Program (AMS) based on analysis of OEM Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and operators’ reliability recommendations.
• Supports the coordination of maintenance-related certification requirements (e.g. Extended Operations (ETOPS), Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR), Airworthiness Limitations (AWL) etc.) across engineering groups, operator, and regulators to maintain product type certification and sustaining operations.
• Review and implement quarterly MPD updates.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of MRO-related experience, with a working knowledge and understanding of commercial airline maintenance programming functions.
• Prior experience in this role with a focus on operations with an approved CAAS AOC holder, and should possess an advanced understanding of OEM maintenance program methodologies and common practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize and structure tasks/information would be essential for this role.
• Required to make decisions to achieve and support the Company’s goals, and be able to work in a multi-disciplined team environment.
