Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing and Merchandising Assistant / Executive to join our team. This position requires assisting the sourcing and merchandising departments with product selection, negotiation, and management, as well as supporting promotional activities by filming and editing videos. You will coordinate procurement activities, ensure product availability, and help create and edit video content to enhance the company’s brand image and product promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to support the planning and development of product assortments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to ensure product availability and optimize stock levels.
• Assist in preparing purchase orders, product listings, and pricing information.
• Support the planning and execution of company promotional activities.
• Responsible for filming and editing promotional videos, including product showcases, brand promotion, and other content.
• Ensure that video content aligns with the brand identity and is engaging to the audience.
• Track market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in product offerings.
• Assist in managing product samples, ensuring they meet quality standards before approval.
• Help organize and maintain product information and databases for easy access by relevant teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Film Production, or a related field.
• Experience in sourcing, merchandising, or retail is preferred.
• Familiarity with video filming and editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Creative skills with the ability to produce engaging promotional videos.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of trends in the retail industry is a plus.
