Job Description

• Supply Chain Strategy & Sourcing: Explore, evaluate, and recommend alternative suppliers and sources to identify new supply opportunities, ensuring a continuous and cost-effective supply chain.
• Issue Resolution & Risk Management: Collect and analyze data on supply-related issues, such as delays, emergencies, or shortages, and collaborate with suppliers to define and implement effective solutions. Conduct supplier risk assessments to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Negotiate, draft, and maintain contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Facilitate clear and ongoing communication to ensure the efficient execution of contract clauses.
• Supplier Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency. Use evaluation data to drive improvements in supplier relationships and service delivery.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed sourcing and supplier performance reports to senior management and cross-functional teams, providing insights into supply chain performance, opportunities, and risks.
• Quotation Analysis & Approval: Screen and analyze supplier quotations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Present findings for management approval prior to procurement decisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
• 5 years of proven experience in sourcing with a strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with procurement systems, ERP/MRP software, and digital sourcing tools to manage and streamline sourcing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with external suppliers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
• Resourceful, self-driven, and proactive with the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Report to and assist the Operations Manager with the entire catering operations.
• Assembling food items according to the Event orders.
• Loading and unloading of equipment and food.
• Punctual delivery of food and set up of events.
• Compliant to the mandatory hygiene and safety standards and requirements.
• Support the logistics and provide catering services including set up, fulfill service staff requirements when needed for all types of events.
• Responsible for proper care of catering equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of all events as per the delivery schedule.
• Liaise with clients on set-up requirements.

What are the roles and responsibility?

• Handle alerts in Cargowise for the Master execution
• Work closely with Air Freight Specialist team and Airlines on booking status

Job Purpose

To manage the overall Supply Chain operations in the company:

• Identifying and qualifying supplier, source and periodic price negotiation for direct and indirect supplies so as to expand supplier base and reduce company cost.
• Ensure assurance of supplies with minimum inventory levels to ensure order fulfillment
• Manage warehouse operations to achieve Inventory accuracy and orders fulfillment.

Core Responsibilities

Procurement

• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and for new project/production needs.
• Obtain quotes from newly source suppliers to achieve competitive costing and continuous cost reduction
• Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.
• Be part of team to conduct supplier qualification audit as well as parts qualification to ensure suppliers can meet company needs.
• Qualify suppliers once suppliers are selected in order to add suppliers into the Approved Vendor List.
• Conduct supplier performance review on a regular basis to manage supplier qualify and updates on suppliers’ capabilities.
• Maintain standard operating procedures applicable to the Procurement department to ensure work flow process are consistence.
• Develop and negotiate favorable supply agreement with suppliers.
• Work with other department and suppliers to develop appropriate supply chain model to ensure assurance of supplies with minimal inventory holdings
• Work with other department like Engineering/Warehouse to ascertain quality standards of items supplied and established Quality plan
• Supervise & train junior staff in leading the team in accomplishing all above duties.

Purchasing

• Develop Purchasing strategy for different categories of supplies to ensure on time order fulfilment with minimum inventory for direct purchases
• Ensure all indirect purchases needs of company is being fulfilled based on user’s needs
• Review Purchasing strategy periodically with Management to propose change when market trend changes
• Provide periodic alert and updates to customer (internal/external) to ensure any issues/delays are promptly highlighted and necessary actions are taken
• Work with principals/suppliers to ensure goods are delivered on time to fulfill customers/company’s needs

Warehousing

• Manage warehouse team to ensure timely receiving/issuance of materials
• Manage warehouse team to achieve order fulfillment requirements specific to all customer
• Ensure overall inventory integrity of all goods in warehouse

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a supply chain management role would be an advantage.
• Work experience in both direct & indirect materials sourcing and purchasing would be an advantage.
• Ariba, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with requirements and risk management expectations related to outsourcing and vendor management is an advantage.
• Expert negotiation/influencing skills with demonstrated ability to influence negotiated outcomes required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills grounded in continuous quality improvement required.
• Proven ability to plan and perform and have been involved in work presenting new or regularly changing problems, work from broad instruction, deal with complex factors not easily evaluated.
• Excelled interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective vendor, business partner, and regulatory relationships, influence decisions and collaborate effectively across the organization required.
• Proven ability to review, monitor, and recommend amendments to contracts and implement business processes to manage against contractual obligations required.
• Extensive spread sheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities for planning of stock control and replenishment.

Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related fields. Relevant logistics or procurement certification is an advantage.

• Explore, recommend and assess alternate sources, to provide new supply opportunities.
• Collection of information about problems, delays, emergencies on supplies, hence contributing to the definition of effective solutions as well as evaluating supplier’s risk assessment.
• Negotiate / maintain contracts & agreements, evaluating all compliance through effective supplier communications and ensuring efficient flow of all conditions / clauses.
• Review & Conduct Supplier’s Performance Evaluation Cycle.
• Prepares / present sourcing reports to the management and the cross-functional teams on the regular basis.
• Competent in quotation screening and analysis prior to management approval.
