Delivery Driver cum Store Assistant

• Class 3 licence and experienced in driving.
• Forklift licence is an added advantage.
• Clean driving record is a must.
• Should be comfortable with loading/unloading goods and handling heavy goods.
• 5 days work week; 8.30am to 6pm.
• Candidates with no driving licence, but have forklift licence will be considered for Warehouse Assistant position.
• Vehicle cannot drive back home.

Job Description:

• Handle daily warehouse operations such as packing, receiving, loading and unloading of goods
• Ensure goods are correctly prepared for delivery
• Fulfil all assigned deliveries on time, as per schedule
• Upkeep and maintain good housekeeping of the warehouse
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess a valid Class 3 driving license with good driving record
• Requires to handle heavy loads/ items
• Good team player who is able to work independently when required.
• Well-organised and possess a positive, keen to learn attitude.
• Able to multi-task and work well in fast-paced environment.

A. Clouet (Singapore) is one of the subsidiaries under Maison Denis in Singapore. Incorporated in 1979, the company’s principal activities consist of the import and distribution of Ayam Brand, Alce Nero, Duchef and several other brands in Singapore. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Team. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for ordering of finished goods from company's Suppliers.

· Liaise with key personnel from internal supply chain team and overseas suppliers to ensure goods are produced and shipped on time.

· Liaise with overseas and local forwarders to deliver goods in Singapore in a timely and cost-effective manner.

· Work closely with 3PL warehouse personnel on inbound shipments and inventory management

· Collaborate with the sales and marketing team on sales forecasts and promotional items, ensuring optimal stock management and stock availability.

· Prepare purchase orders, organise and confirm delivery of goods.

Qualifications

· Degree / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Logistics/Inventory Management/Procurement or equivalent

· 1-2 years of relevant experience; preferably in wholesale and distribution industry

· Responsible, meticulous, analytical and possess a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines

· Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills & able to multi-task

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlookup, etc)

· Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Training Provided

Responsibilities

• Issuance of invoices and sending to customers
• Liaising and communicating with customers
• Manage and update inventory records
• Other ad hoc duties (e.g. CN/cancellation of invoices, request for urgent advance invoice, etc.)
• Monitor direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
• Conduct monthly stock inbounding and counting
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Handle day-to-day stock management in system for stock inbound/outbound, stock movements, shipment process.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements
