Responsibilities:

• Handle all driving assignments carefully and efficiently
• Ensure all transport requests are handled timely
• Responsible for the maintenance of the transport vehicle include cleaning of vehicle etc.
• Ensure the safety precaution are taken in the course of work
• Transport elderly clients safely to and from and within the Centre
• Transport elderly clients for hospitals/polyclinics medical appointments
• Transport staff to attend work-related functions such as hospital/home visits of clients, funeral wakes, corporate events
• Cover other drivers’ duties when they are away

Requirements:

• Secondary education with valid driving license
• Possess a good driving record with minimum of 2 years driving experience, preferably handicapped van
• Physically fit
• Interested in elderly and community work
• Able to converse with elderly

Job Description

• Provide assistance and supervision to clients during boarding, alighting, and travel, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Safely pick up and drop off clients at designated locations, assisting them as needed and ensuring they are securely strapped in the vehicle
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the vehicle while accompanying clients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey
• Supervise clients during their routine rehabilitation, therapy, and recreational activities, ensuring their engagement and well-being while also assisting with meals and personal care as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the center by performing daily cleaning tasks and handling other assigned duties to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all clients

Job Requirements

• GCE O Level and above
• A valid Class 3 License with 0 demerit points
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare will be advantageous
