Job Description
- Perform chemical analyses on precious metal samples using techniques such as fire assay, gravimetric analysis, and instrumental methods (e.g., ICP-OES, XRF).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
- Interpret analytical data and prepare detailed reports summarizing test results and findings.
- Collaborate with production and research teams to troubleshoot process issues and optimize precious metal recovery processes.
- Assist in the development of new analytical methods and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including sample preparation, testing procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and regulatory requirements related to precious metal analysis.
Job Requirement:
- Min Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of laboratory experience in precious metal/ base metal industry, eg.fire assay analysis and ICP machine operation.
- Good analytical abilities and communication skills.
