DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate vehicles in accordance with all Singapore traffic laws and regulations, applicable US Navy instructions/directives and applicable installation instruction/directives.
• The safety of passengers is the prime responsibility of all drivers.
• At the beginning and end of their shift, they inspect their vehicle to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
• Transport quests to/from assigned places.
• Greet passengers and engage them in conversation in a bid to make them feel welcomed.
• Turn in lost/found items to Centerra main office and keep a lookout for suspicious activities on the van.
• Drive shuttle bus/truck on predefined route
• Ensure that duty drivers complete the daily driver’s checklist prior to operating the vehicles.
• Conduct compliance surveillance of shuttle bus operations to ensure contract compliance with emphasis on safety and schedule.
• Coordinate shuttle bus and taxi schedules to ensure that services are completed in accordance with the contract and requested itineraries.

BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Clean driving record with valid Singapore driving license.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum High School education

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years of clean driving record

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lorry cranes to transport metal/steel materials to and from construction sites or customer locations.
• Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on the lorry crane to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operations.
• Assist with on-site coordination of materials delivery as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle usage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and site teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 Driving License in Singapore.
• Lorry Crane Operator License (WSQ Certification in Lifting Operations).
• Proven experience operating lorry cranes, preferably in the metal/steel construction industry.
• Strong understanding of workplace and traffic safety regulations.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
