• Demonstrate commercial expertise by driving business development projects (e.g., acquisitions, joint ventures, investments) to create long-term value for stakeholders.
• Excel in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors, ensuring energy commodities meet or exceed customer quality requirements.
• Analyze market trends and transform data into actionable insights to improve procurement strategies.
• Communicate effectively with senior management and external stakeholders from diverse global locations.
• Deliver on assigned cost-saving targets.
• Monitor market conditions to make informed and timely purchasing decisions.
• Take a global leadership role in managing key energy purchases across mills, developing a commodity strategy aligned with the overarching global strategy.
• Provide regular market insights and updates to senior management.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

• Order Processing function:
  • To process clients' orders.
  • To liaise between internal sales/project and clients.
• Purchasing function:
  • To make local and overseas purchases.
  • To source locally and overseas.
  • To negotiate with suppliers.
• Logistics function (only 5% of work):
  • To coordinate local deliveries.
  • To coordinate international shipping.
  • To liaise with store on incoming goods.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirement:

• Degree / Diploma
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior purchasing position.
• Good organisation & communication skills.
• Motivated to work in challenging, fast paced, and result-driven environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide chauffeuring support
• Ensure the vehicles are well maintained
• Ensure the vehicles are meeting all safety requirements
• Cleaning of vehicles on a regular basis to ensure the cleaniness at all times
• Drive and operate the assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
• Follow and comply with all the road traffic rules at all times.
• Carry out other ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

• Possess a valid class 3 driving license with clean record
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with driving a minivan. (E.g. Toyota Vellfire)
• Familiar with road traffic rules, roads in Singapore
• Reliable and punctual
• Possess good working attitude
