Job Summary

Responsible to oversee daily operations at our store, supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and make sure all items required for stores are delivered at time. Lead a team member at store.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Store

• Review and improve current planning, storage method and organizing of inventory to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on buying trends and site requirements to support informed decision- making.
• Oversee and monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and support project timelines.
• Ensure store compliance with regulatory standards and practices related to health, safety, and the environment.
• Deliver excellent service to ensure smooth running of operations.
• Should initiate cost control and should monitor materials movement.

Workshop

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery, vehicles, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Manage timely logistics arrangement for raw materials, vehicles, machinery and equipment, in close coordination with operations team to avoid delays and optimize resource allocation.
• Optimise maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems to minimise downtime and costs.
• Handle the renewal of Insurances, Road Tax, VPC and other related documents for vehicles and machineries.
• Implement strategies for effective resource utilization to support operational goals and minimize waste.
• Foster the growth of department staff through mentorship, training and professional development.
• Lead the department to achieve company goals and drive improvements in overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in the construction field is preferred and added advantage
• Strong leadership and customer management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
• Check and review orders/documents before and after delivery to ensure the goods/materials are correct.
• Deliver construction materials to required destination and carry materials like sand, soils, mill waste and etc.
• Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Run errands as and when required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Candidate who possesses a valid class 4 driving license.
• At least 1 year(s) of experience.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and use of navigation apps
• Drive in a safe manner at all times and adhering to traffic rules & regulations stated in the Road Traffic Act.
• Independent organized with positive work attitude and good team player.
• Able to work on Weekends and night work if required

• Ferry workers from to and from work site.
• Supervise worker
• Deliver documents or materials to required destinations.
• Operate Lorry Crane
• Loading and unloading of materials from the vehicle.
• Conduct daily checks to ensure that the vehicle is in good and safe condition.
• Keep vehicle clean and regular maintenance on vehicle.
• Drive in safety manner at all times and adhering to traffic rules and regulations stated in the road traffic.
• Attend to other ad hoc duties instructed by immediate superior.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Class 3/Class 4/Class 5 driver with good driving records.
• Must have experience in operating lorry crane.
• Positive attitude to work independently as a team player, meticulous and organised
• Willing to learn, independent and self-motivated
• At least 2 years working experience
• Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level
• Familiar with Singapore road.
• Able to handle moderately heavy goods.
• Complying with LTA Road Safety and traffic regulation
• Complying with various sites safety regulation and requirement
• Possesses a lorry crane operator license
• Able to read, write and communicate in English

Other Information

• 5.5/6 days work per week
• Working Hours: 8am to 7pm
