Responsibilities:

Control the GDC Operation

• Key task of the Distribution Specialist is to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Singapore GDC. Stock Accuracy and Control

Overall Master Data Control for the Singapore GDC

• Master Data plays a key role in the overall operation and functionality of the Singapore GDC. As data exists in multiple systems and need to be transacted through various ERP solutions strict control is essential to the operation. Work closely with the Global Master Data team on the data governance, with the countries served by the GDC and with the GDC suppliers on the content of the data. Product master data in AX is required to be set up in synchronisation with the market processes.

GDC Service Level Performance

• This role monitors and reports the GDC service performance. Where needed corrective actions will be initiated and followed up.\

Operational Excellence and Process Development for the Singapore Supply Chain

• This role will drive the operational excellence and process development for the overall GDC. Lean methodologies, GMP and GDP principles will apply to deliver to the improvement goals. The job holder makes sure the GDC operates in full compliance with local regulation, global regulations and Smith & Nephew policies and practices.

Value-add services (e.g. Labelling, Inserts)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations at Omni United Co. Limited. 1. Sea Freight Management:

5. Cost Management:

• Develop consulting business in areas of supply chain strategy
• Able to help clients define future supply chain strategies, supply chain network planning
• and operating models
• Develop intelligent / resilient supply chains in the digital era.
• Come up with end-to-end supply chain planning capability, such as demand management, supply planning, order fulfillment and logistics planning
• Assist client to define future category strategies, source-to-pay operations and procurement IT tool
• Optimize delivery network, warehousing, and transportation operations
• Prepare marketing content, coordinating with marketing business partners, and organizing marketing events to promote the consulting brand

skills & experience required

• Master / Bachelor in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Management / Engineering
• Min 10 years of supply chain experience in management consultancy firm (ideally from Big 4)
• Well versed with end to end supply chain transformation
• Proven career track in business transformation and value creation through digital
  technologies will be a plus
• Experience with Warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, Oracle)
• Able to operate independently (wfh set up and going to customer site)

Responsibilities

· Responsible for maintaining/implementing Driver & Vehicle Safety Framework (DEL-01-01) for sites & gas & gear within area of responsibility.

· Responsible for ensuring compliance at Golden Rules & Driver Safety Policy

· Responsible for the assurance that the following activity are being done and working: Driver Duty Hours Compliance & Monitoring, Pre & Post trip inspections, Compliance to Tire & Seatbelt, Compliance to Brake Testing as schedule, Compliance to Roadworthiness & Steering Test, Compliance of trucks, prime movers, trailers, ISO tanks & tanker to Standard and Compliance to Green Folder Requirement (Transport Safety Directives) for plant sites & gas & gears.

· Conduct validations of above mentioned activity to check compliance.

· Improve Distribution KPI though efficient operations (cost/m3, cost/km, capacity utilization, time utilizations, etc.)

· Assist in country programs and evaluates feasibility with impact to costs.

· Responsible for executing/achieving GAP target for Distribution.

· Ensure delivery schedules are at optimum cost.

· Ensure accuracy of hauler billing (reliability, km run).

· Ensure schedule compliance of trips to customers based on orders.

· Come up with a daily bulk delivery schedule at 12:00 PM and PGP scheduler at 5:00 PM with ETA – Expected Time of Arrival per customers.

· Maintain close communications with key stakeholders in dispatch, customer service, sales, operations, transport and production to ensure timely completion of schedule and producing the most cost and operationally effective schedule daily.

· Accountable by ensuring timely and accurate reporting/submission such as but not limited to: Daily Trip Monitoring, Truck reliability, Next day delivery schedule, Early Morning Delivery, Issue Log, Duty Hours Monitoring, Service quality measures, OBC Violation Monitoring, Tire Management / policies, Take 5 / driver engagement and Toolbox Minutes.

· Execute confirmation of delivery notes for bulk deliveries, PGP deliveries and gas and gear.

· Send a weekly shipping schedule to Cylinder Supply Chain Management (CSCM) warehouse supervisors.

· Prepare delivery notes for gas and gear customers’.

Requirements

· Min. Diploma in Supply Chain

· Comfortable to travel to Jurong Island (i.e., shuttle bus service provided near Lakeside) wef Jan 2024.

· Clear understanding of the logistics environment in the country.

· Proficiency in using MS Office skills, SAP (MM) module etc.

· Ability to take quick decisions based on circumstances, data support system.
