This role reports to the Assistant Transport Manager.

The Transport Coordinator / Executive shall assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring of transport orders and ensure that they are performed in accordance to prescribed safety, quality and productivity levels. This will include close liaison with both internal and external stakeholders (contractors and customers).

• Act as the primary liaison between external hauliers and the company.
• Assist in the planning and allocation of delivery and transport orders.
• Maintain and preparing key data sets for reporting and presenting findings to internal stakeholders for review.
• Conduct regular site observations in collaboration with hauliers.
• Perform haulier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to plan and execute transport orders efficiently.
• Monitor and ensure all transport orders meet the company’s KPIs.
• Identify and follow up on operational and service level gaps.
• Undertake additional ad-hoc duties and projects as needed.

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Transport, or a relevant field (NITEC / Higher NITEC holders are also welcome to apply)

• Experience in export, import, and general trucking order process flow.
• Highly organized, structured, and meticulous.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clarity during engagement or presentations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI).
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong ability to work independently while demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Coordinate vehicle preparation for customer delivery and supervise contractors to ensure timely completion.
• Work closely with the Sales team to schedule new vehicle deliveries.
• Obtain quotes from vendors for additional accessories. Create Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) records and issue purchase orders.
• Oversee contractors to ensure quality work.
• Conduct quality checks after PDI completion.
• Manage parts inventory and receipt from suppliers.

Job Description

• Quality check and provide professional recommendations for appropriate repairs, body & paint works or servicing, ensure works are done according to manufacturer standard & guidelines.
• Supervising and managing the day-to-day operations within the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity in the tasks performed.
• Assist Immediate Superior in handling 1st level of complaint cases, meet up with customers, generating and assist inventory management, backorder, tools and workshop equipment, WIP, MTD, Monthly Contribution reports for ASM’s analysis and action plans. 
• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and ensuring a high level of service quality is maintained. 
• Perform functional role to support QL customer service team during peak period or manpower shortage situation. 

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Vehicle Operation  

• Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner  
• Provides transportation in a punctual manner  
• The driver will share workload with the other driver(s) across Country Head Singapore & all RHB entities’ assignments
• The driver is expected to work overtime when the Country Head or other assignments (eg Bank events or customer dinners) and is entitled to claims as per RHB HR policies

Vehicle Maintenance

• Keeps the assigned vehicle clean inside and outside      
• Fuels the assigned vehicle  
• Performs minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle as required  
• Maintains accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management    
• Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
