Position：Logistic Assistant (Traffic Controller)

Working Hour：Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
Off day: Sat, Sun and PH off.
OT: 1.5 times, Sunday PH 2 times
Working Experience Required: Prefer to work in logistics company before, OR admin experience, familiar with Singapore's routes, and arrange transportation routes for logistics drivers
Gross Salary: $2400 - $3000
Work Location: Pioneer (Company Transport: Paya Lebar / Woodlands / Jurong East)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute transportation plans to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reducing costs and improving delivery times.
• Collaborate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Analyse transportation costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to achieve budgetary goals.
• Stay informed about transportation regulations and ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international laws.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of transportation operations.
• Work closely with the inventory management team to coordinate transportation and warehouse activities, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
• Address and resolve transportation-related issues, such as delays, damages, and discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant technologies to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintain open communication with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues promptly. Other ad-hoc assignments required by immediate superior.

Prerequisite:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics management.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s traffic regulations and ISO requirements.
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP).
• Good organizational and coordination abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to think and react quickly to solve problems.
• Team player and able to work independently and track multiple processes.
