What the role involves:

1. Handle ocean import process (communicate with customer, data entry, raise payment voucher, arrange transportation)
2. Arrange payments with Carrier / Co-loader upon receipt of Arrival Notices from Carriers / Co-loaders.
3. Process / input data of incoming shipments in Yunas system.
4. Sending Arrival Notice to customers, and liaise for clearance and delivery instructions
5. Arrange for insurance coverage in required by customers
6. Arrange clearance documents and liaise with transporters for delivery arrangement
7. Follow-up on the arrival of shipment, and delivery process
8. Liaise with customers / carriers / co-loaders if there is any discrepancy to the cargoes upon clearance
9. Raise invoices and dispatch to customer, and follow-up with customers if there is any discrepancy
10. Extract data for simple report (Excel) if required by customers

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

1. Minimum O level and above
2. 1 Year of Experience preferably in freight forwarding or shipping.
3. Good communication skill and a team player with positive working attitude

AML Transaction Monitoring

• To review and investigate system-generated or any alerts, to determine the next course of action
• Conduct further investigations, if necessary, by engaging relevant stakeholders to obtain the required information to ensure proper closure
• To close the alerts promptly and maintain proper documentation on the rationale of the closure
• To assist the Team Lead for key reporting to management and various stakeholders

Other function(s)

• Work closely and support other AML compliance teams to strengthen and further mitigate residual AML/CFT risks
• Work with other business units to foster good working relationship to increase the level of AML/CFT awareness
• Perform any task or participate in projects as required by management
• Work closely, and support other teams within the Compliance Department

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Export operations runs smoothly, and SOP compliant.
• Manage and co-ordinate the entire shipment process for customers.
• Implement and establish new processes for export / import operations.
• Review export / import operational procedures for continuous improvement, to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare KPI reports for customers & attend to Operation Review meetings when required.
• Plan / schedule space for all origin stations.
• To co-ordinate shipment closely with Customers and various department to ensure shipments executed correctly
• Monitor & ensure Customers make prompt payments.
• Rectify & resolve payment discrepancies.
• Observe & control daily operational issues to comply Customer’s requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the industry.
• PC literate and has a customer centric attitude.
• Able to commit for weekends as part of regular hours due to operational needs.
