Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake all aspects of vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs.
• Inspect vehicles’ damages and determine repair and replacement needs.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding repair and replacement options.
• Perform repair works and replace parts for motor vehicles.
• Follow safety guidelines and use proper tools and equipment to complete repairs.
• Report to superior on parts unavailability or any expected delay of job including not meeting deadline.
• Notify any additional fault or defect found in the repair process to superior and obtain appropriate approval before proceeding with the repair.
• Record all the jobs done for the vehicle on the job card.
• Ensure the car is in clean condition after the repair work is done.
• Carry out daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing & repairing cars.
• Vocational Certification in Automotive related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs for all marques
• Able to work overtime and over the weekend.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Respond to job assignments promptly and perform on-site mechanic services.
• Restart breakdown vehicles of AA members and corporate customers.
• Observe safety practices in the course of attending to breakdown cases.
• Carry out documentation as per vehicle recovery procedures.
• Display basic customer service skill in the course of work.
• Safe-keep all sales proceeds and document and deposit these into the steel box at the Call Centre at the end of shift.
• Replenish service van with batteries after sales have been made.
• Carry out daily vehicle serviceability checks as per “Before Operations Check”.
• Upskill to provide corrective/ preventive maintenance/ testing and commission to EV chargers.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence required.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Min. qualification NTC in Vehicle Mechanic and above.
• Required to work rotating day & night shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
• Working experience in vehicle recovery services is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle repair/ maintenance will be added advantage.
• No related experience with willing-to-learn and positive attitude are welcome to apply.
• Able to start work immediately/ within short notice are preferred.
