Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the logistical and operational aspects of our business.

1. Plan duty roster of operations staff
2. Plan Scheduling of delivery
3. Oversee and ensure efficient day-to-day operations
4. Send, set-up and collection of buffet
5. Check orders in advance on the system to plan schedules and allocate manpower effectively.
6. Engage part-timers and ensure that they are deployed accordingly
7. Attend meetings with clients to discuss logistics and operational requirements.
8. Address and rectify any sudden issues that arise during events to ensure smooth operations.
9. To co-ordinate with Chef, Operations staff on function set-up arrangement, service procedure and setting up and clearing of all equipment before and after functions.
10. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirement

1. Minimum 1 year experience in catering operations
2. Possess Class 3 driving license with clean records
3. Familiar with Singapore streets directory

As a Supply Management Professional in the Inbound Supply Management team at Micron, you will work with a team of Supply Chain Analysts responsible for maintaining Micron’s inventory supply. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure availability and continuity of supply and implement a comprehensive inventory management strategy. You will engage suppliers and partners in resolving supply shortages and identifying root-cause to prevent future shortages. You will be part of a distributed team dedicated to providing on-time delivery, minimizing waste, and leading continuous improvements through effective and efficient global parts & materials inventory management, and building resilience against disruptions.

Responsibilities:

Material Management and Supply Planning

• Develop, monitor, and optimize inventory replenishment models and supply execution strategies to effectively support manufacturing and minimize waste. This includes forecast and material requirements planning (MRP), safety stock (SS), reorder point (ROP) and lead time maintenance as well as part/material obsolescence management.
• Publish material forecasts, manage supplier commitments, monitor forecast accuracy and work with suppliers and business partners to address any concerns in demand volume and timing.
• Manage inventory scheduling and delivery and make order adjustments with suppliers as necessary due to scheduling or availability changes. Expedite and elevate delivery issues as needed to ensure continuity of supply.
• Address inventory shortage issues and resolve root cause.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering

• Work with partners to monitor performance of key process indicators through aligned metrics with driven root cause and action.
• Provide input to leadership on the building and implementing of department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation on teams and projects.
• Work with direct and cross-functional teams to implement and execute global strategic direction in supply fulfillment and inventory management.
• Enable and support automation of procurement processes and metrics.
• Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and positively representing Procurement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study.
• 0-1 years of experience in Supply chain Management
• Professional Procurement Certification (CPIM, APICS, etc) will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in O365, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate.

As a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program Manager at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in running and delivering successful Digital Transformation Projects. You will take care of, monitor, and lead projects through all phases of project lifecycle - from initiation, feasibility studies, planning, execution and control, managing the timeliness and budget till project closure. You will play a dedicated role leading cross-functional teams (across IT, Digital Transformation and business SMEs) in identifying project requirements, establishing clear and achievable objectives, coordination and adapting the specifications and approach to the different concerns and expectations of various partners, and adhere to the Micron Project Methodology and project standards. The Program Manager is a strategic role that requires collaboration with business partners to ensure business needs are met. This includes understanding how a project impacts the strategic roadmap of the business and aligning project execution to help achieve business objectives.

You will be dynamic leader working closely with our highly-motivated project teams. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide leadership within the program team environment, guided by the Micron Project Management framework and standards

Education:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related fields or
• Working experience in semiconductor industry or complex manufacturing environment or equivalent experiences
• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing projects with proven tools, techniques and processes such as PMBOK by PMI
• Knowledge in supply chain management
• Experience in working with global teams across countries

Desired:

• Certifications in Supply Chain Management, Program Management (CAPM or PMP) and Change Management (PROSCI)
