Job Description
- Demand forecasting: Planning of monthly forecast and stock ordering. Predicting customer buying trends and ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
- Inventory management: Optimizing inventory levels to minimize storage costs and avoid over stock or out of stock. Monitor stock balances to ensure sufficient fulfilment to the trade channels.
- Transportation planning: Prepare necessary shipping documentations and selecting the most efficient and cost-effective routes for shipping goods.
- Shipping management: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers, 3PL & forwarders for shipments to/from overseas.
- Vendor and stakeholder management: Liaising with suppliers, 3PL & internal department stakeholder such as sales and warehouse team to ensure smooth inventory operations.
- Data analysis: Using data to identify trends, track performance, and make informed decisions.
Requirements
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
2. Efficient at multi-tasking and prioritizing
3. Proactive, responsible, good communication & attitude, hands-on attitude
