JOB PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Manager (Inventory) responsible in managing the inventory control to ensure inventory level is optimized and inventory targets are achieved.
KEY ROLE(S), RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Oversee inventory management; maximize stock turn through replenishment and stock transfer, as well as ensure inventory levels of product categories are controlled within the stock turn day given.
• Locate and reconcile any inventory discrepancies.
• Responsible to ensure overall cost effective and efficient methods of stock movement.
• Execute overall management direction to ensure product orders are sufficient and on time to cater for business activities.
• Constantly review and improve inventory control protocols and processes to ensure proper system is in place to support the work and to ensure adherence to supply chain inventory standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Superior.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proven track record with at least 8 years’ experience in retail supply chain management.
- At least 3 years of management experience in retail chain stores.
- Experience in WMS ERP system.
