• Provide administrative support for shipping projects such as order processing, shipping documents, invoices, purchase orders, import/export documents, etc
• Scheduling and coordination of all administrative and logistical related matters
• Deal with quotes from prospective shippers and handle claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems happen to occur
• Generate invoices, delivery order and shipping documentation including Certificate of Origin/Beneficiary’s certificate & LC documents
• Coordinate to ensure smooth shipment and timely cargo collection
• Liaise with forwarders and supplier on import/direct shipment arrangement
• Follow up on export shipment documentation, customer payment, release credit limit block
• Perform stock count and maintain good inventory record
• Handle permit declaration via TradeNet

Requirement:

• GCE O level & above
• 2 to 3 years' experience in Shipping line (Import / Export)
• Preferably with experience in import/export, Tradenet and knowledge in customs regulations
• Letter of Credit knowledge
• 5 days work (8am to 5pm) at Gul Ave (Tuas area)

Roles & Responsibility:

• Quality control of flowers on the all production and supply chain;
• Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.
• Assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels and KPIs.
• Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints.
• Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers.
• Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop improved standards for production and design, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
• Cool chain management and improvement;
• Testing new varieties, new packaging, new processes;
• Hygiene and safety in all working areas;
• Team supervision and ability to coordinate with Operations team to ensure daily deadlines;
• Preparation of accurate and timely reports;
• Identify training needs and take action to ensure companywide compliance
• Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills
• Staff training and evaluation of progress;

Requirement:

• 3 Years’ experience as a QC in a fresh produce industry preferably the food industry
• University Degree or equivalent.

Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent field is preferred 5 to 8 years in sales positions in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry preferred

· Proven experience in business development and strategic account Management

· Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specialisations in certain industry verticals

· A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs, present appropriate solutions and close business

· Must have experience in working within a multi-national / cultural environment

· Strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills

· Proven ability to multi-task and drive profitable revenue from multiple accounts

· Strong leadership qualities and motivation skills

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively across various levels with internal stakeholders
