We are looking for an experienced Lead, Supply Chain who will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management within foodpanda’s pandamart team.
About the role:
As a Lead, Supply Chain, you will be responsible for performance of assortment availability, wastage, supplier performance, inventory level, budget control to drive business growth, customer experience and profitability through effective planning, forecasting and supplier management.
The role would be reporting directly to the Head of Operations, Singapore. Your team includes Managers, Specialists and Planners responsible for the complex supply chain planning processes. You will work closely with all stakeholders to continually monitor and improve performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the consensus forecast, based on statistical forecast and marketing activities (promotions, seasonality, phase in/phase out, new launches, de-lists)
- Own and manage end-to-end supply chain to achieve the balance between excellent product availability against optimal inventory holding, utilizing space and minimal waste
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures to have a seamless supply chain operations with necessary risk mitigation
- Monitor performance of the Distribution Center by 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) to ensure minimum service levels within budget and execute Continuous Improvement processes
- Implement new processes, tools rolled out by regional/central teams with feedback to improve
- Collaborate with all stakeholders including Commercial, Assortment, Marketing, Growth, 3PL, Fulfillment and Finance to execute plans timely, efficiently within budget
- Analyse relevant data (e.g. promotional, seasonal, events, inbound/storage capacity, supplier MOQ, market research or platform) generating timely accurate actionable insights for management business decision-making and improving planning process
- Prepare weekly, monthly forecasting, S&OP and KPI reports
- Develop, motivate and manage the members of your team
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships internally and externally, to achieve results
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 5 years of working experience leading supply chain management functions (e.g. planning, purchasing, scheduling, inventory, warehousing, fulfillment, 3PL & supplier management) will be required
- Experience managing collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes with retailers (managing regional sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out demand forecasting and inventory allocation throughout product life cycle )
- Strong leadership to influence stakeholders, decision making ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Prior working experience in FMCG as a grocery retailer/supplier will be preferred
- Analytical with ability to work with large data sets to discover patterns, trends and to form conclusions based on findings
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel, SQL with knowledge of Data studio, Tableau is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills
