Job Description

Primary duties:

• Review orders before delivery
• Conduct vehicle inspections before departure
• Load delivery items safely and efficiently
• Transport, unload, and deliver items securely to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss
• Determine optimal routes considering traffic congestion, construction, and other factors
• Communicate traffic delays and concerns to dispatch as needed
• Verify completed orders post-delivery for accuracy
• Adhere to relevant transportation and road regulations
• Follow applicable safety standards

Secondary Duties:

• Inbound Cargo – Accurately receive all incoming shipments, sort, and place received merchandise for put away/storage following directed/undirected WMS work orders
• Outbound Cargo – Pick, pack, and stage merchandise for local or external delivery as per directed WMS work orders
• Delivery – Load and unload merchandise into vehicles for delivery according to the schedule
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety procedures for handling merchandise, as well as the use of DC equipment and vehicles
• Keep all material handling equipment and vehicles in good working condition
• Perform other logistic operations activities as directed by the Supervisor

Job Requirement

• Able to drive 24ft lorry
• Possess class 4 driving license

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to assist with the daily operations of shipping and freight forwarding services.

What Will You Do

• To attend to customers' and agents' inquiries and complaints.
