⚠️ Salary: up to $3,200 + OT
Job Duties:
· Operate waste management trucks and perform daily safety, and maintenance checks properly.
· Perform collection and delivery of waste materials or containers from industrial areas.
· To oversee, control and assist Attendant during waste collections. Toolbox meeting before commence work.
· To understand the Risk Assessment and requirements for every collection operation. If unsure, please consult Supervisor.
· Ensure that all waste materials are properly secured and contained for transportation, in accordance with hazardous waste regulations. Perform a 3-minute round the truck check to ensure waste is safe for transportation before driving off from Customer’s place.
· Report any safety hazard, accident, or damage to the truck or equipment to the Supervisor immediately.
· In the event of a chemical spill, use a spill-kit to contain the area, and inform the Supervisor immediately.
· Ensure that all empty containers supplied to Customers are clean, in good condition, and odor free.
· Provide good customer service to all customers. If in doubt during item collection, kindly check with the Customer Service Team or the Supervisor immediately. Ensure that the customer does not change the Collection Order waste list prior to informing the Customer Service team or the Supervisor.
· Physically check the quantity collected against the quantity stated in the Collection Order.
· Abide to Customers safety requirements when at Customer’s vicinity. If a dispute ensues, do not engage in the altercation, but contact the Supervisor immediately.
· In the event you damage the Customer’s property, do not run away. Contact the Supervisor immediately.
· While at Customer’s vicinity, inform the Supervisor of any changes such as Customer’s premise or spotting Competitors’ containers.
· Keep accurate records of Collection Order/Delivery Order (CODO) and return to Office daily.
· Carry out housekeeping works within the designated area, especially on truck cleanliness after every use.
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines always.
· If the are any areas for improvement, you are welcome to suggest them to the Supervisor.
· Perform any other tasks assigned to you from time to time by the Supervisor.
· Always be polite and courteous to Customers. Uniforms must be presentable & clean.
Requirement:
· Valid and clean commercial driver's license, Class 4 or 5.
· Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
· To assist in monitoring to stay below 72 hours of Over Time.
