Sales Coordinator (Indoor) / Senior Executive (Freight Forwarding)
Responsibilities:
• Assist overseas freight forwarders by understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
• Communicate regularly with overseas agent offices to update them on shipment statuses and ensure seamless coordination.
• Source and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, and emails.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations for cross-trade and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
• Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, and maintain accurate customer accounts while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow up proactively on submitted quotations to achieve a high success rate and close deals effectively.
• Support the operations department to ensure successful delivery of services that meet or exceed agent expectations.
• Monitor market trends, evaluate pricing and availability, and maintain accurate records to support business growth.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management to contribute to organisational success.
Requirements:
• Driven to grow the business for the company
• Preferably good knowledge of both Freight operations and sales processes
• Positive attitude and sales/customer service-minded
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding (Air & Ocean) industry within commercial areas, preferably with ocean exposure in a regional role
• Good teamwork
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English, be able to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
